Our midday arrival at the Conrad Hotel in Abu Dhabi felt very relaxed – friendly faces and a stunning glass front greeting us. It set the stage for a relaxed day of unwinding and discovering the city from new heights.
Checking In and Settling Down

We walked into the lobby, all glass and light, and the staff made us feel welcome right away. Thanks to the AMEX Platinum card, we got bumped up to a nicer spot and some dining credit, which was a nice bonus. Riding up in one of the edge elevators with a glass wall, we caught glimpses of Abu Dhabi’s skyline.
Dinner at Li Beirut

That evening, we headed to Li Beirut, the Lebanese spot in the hotel. We ordered a few starters – Hummus Beiruti, hummus with meat, beetroot salad, and tabbouleh – tasted great but it was so much that we had to skip the grill platter we’d planned.
Morning Bites and City Views

Next morning, the free breakfast buffet offered a lot of options, even if the food and especially the coffee wasn’t as special as the one at Rosewood. Afterwards we drove to the Observation Deck at 300, the highest point in Abu Dhabi. It was a good option to get an overview of its main attractions since it looks like a miniature city from above.
Looking back, it was the easy moments like that elevator ride or sharing mezze. What’s a small hotel memory that made your trip special? Drop it in the comments—I’d love to hear and maybe get ideas for my next adventure!
