From Munich to Abu Dhabi: A Blissful Flight Adventure

Business Class Seat at Etihad

Hey there, imagine kicking off a trip with a bit of quiet time before the adventure really starts. Our flight from Munich to Abu Dhabi turned out to be one of those easy, feel-good experiences that make traveling fun. We relaxed, ate well, and arrived feeling ready for whatever came next.

The Tranquil Start at Munich’s World Lounge

We started at the World Lounge in Munich Airport, a big, open space that’s surprisingly peaceful even when the airport’s buzzing. It’s got comfy spots to sit and a nice spread of food—nothing fancy, but tasty enough to tide you over. We grabbed some bites, chatted about our plans, and just unwound before heading to the gate. It felt like a gentle ease into the journey.

Boarding and Settling into Comfort

Stepping aboard the Boeing 787-9, we were greeted with warm smiles from the crew, setting a friendly tone right away. Our seats in business class were incredibly comfortable. The stylish Giorgio Armani amenity kits added a touch of elegance, complete with sleep masks, creams, and essentials that made us feel pampered from the start.

Culinary Highlights High Above the Clouds

The inflight dining was great. We began with a refreshing aperitif, followed by a mezze starter. The main course was a braised short ribs, followed by fresh fruits.

After 5 hours and 20 minutes, we landed in Abu Dhabi. Our bags were already on the carousel when we got there, and passport control went quickly as well – no long lines or stress. Afterwards we went by bus to the hotel (it took about 1 hour but was only 1 Euro / person).

Trips like this remind me how the little comforts can make all the difference. Have you had a flight that surprised you in a good way? Drop your stories in the comments—I’d love to hear them and maybe get inspired for my next getaway.

Effortless Arrival in Abu Dhabi

Landing smoothly after just over five hours, we were thrilled to find our luggage waiting at the carousel and passport control a breeze. For less than a euro, a quick bus ride whisked us to our hotel, allowing us to dive straight into Abu Dhabi’s vibrant energy without a hitch.

What a wonderful way to kick off an adventure! If you’ve flown this route or have tips for Abu Dhabi, share them in the comments—I’d love to hear your stories and plan more inspiring trips together.
