Rosewood Abu Dhabi: How to make your stay an experience

The big macaron

Our stay at the Rosewood Hotel turned a simple stopover into a cherished memory, blending quiet luxury with little joys that made us feel truly welcome. From early check-ins to cozy naps and flavorful meals, it was all about those small, heartfelt moments that linger long after.

The Welcoming Arrival

We arrived in the hotel around 9 AM. Thanks to our American Express Platinum booking, we checked in right away. The hotel personal was very friendly and attentive.

Little Surprises Along the Way

To our delight, the booking came with extras like a room upgrade, spa credits, and dining perks. These treats enriched our stay with unexpected highlights. We enjoyed a great massage and had a Cantonese meal in the evening. This is how small gestures can brighten a trip.

Exploring the Nearby Mall

After settling in, we wandered into the mall connected to the hotel. It had elegant luxury shops that were fun to window-shop, and a more everyday section with a food court. We grabbed a light Vietnamese brunch at Pho Mo – simple & tasty.

A Much-Needed Afternoon Rest

Back in our room, we were surprised with a small cake.

In the afternoon missing sleep caught up with us, so we took a short nap. The room was peaceful and the beds verfy comfy, so drifting off was pretty easy. Refreshed in the late afternoon, we felt ready for more adventures.

Venturing to Abu Dhabi Mall

In the afternoon, we crossed to the Abu Dhabi Mall across the river. It was lively and pretty, full of shops to browse. No big finds, but strolling around and people-watching was a relaxing way to soak in the city’s vibe.

Rejuvenating at the Spa

Afterwards, I used the spa credit for a gentle treatment. The therapists were kind and attentive, creating a serene space to relax.

Evening Dinner: Cantonese Flavors

Back at the hotel, we dined at their Cantonese restaurant. The chicken soup dumplings were delicious, the cucumber salad fresh and crisp, and the Peking duck tender and flavorful.

A Tasty Start: Breakfast Memories

Our complimentary breakfast was a highlight – part buffet, part à la carte. We savored eggs benedict with salmon, French toast with pistachios and a protein banana-yogurt shake. The coffee was one of the best we ever had.

This trip reminded me how travel can nurture the soul with simple pleasures. Have you had a stay that felt like that? Share your stories in the comments—I’d love to hear about your highlights on the road.
